Review on Keep Your Campsite Clean With HIKEMAN Collapsible Camping Trash Can by Pamela Pickett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Most practical one of these I've had so far.

My fav feature are the poles to keep it standing, most pop-up trash cans I've had don't even bother, and the other one or two were loose and feel out easy - this feels like I could throw it off a cliff and it would be unchanged at the bottom. Fabric is thin(ish) but tough. Extra features are really nice - there's multiple stake-down and tie off points, there's even Velcro loops to attach it to a table leg or pole, the lid has a thin pocket for extra bags/string, and the clips to hold it collapsed are heavy duty. It's about the size of a kitchen trashcan, but a little wider and squatter. Next camping trip I'm using this for dry food and food waste; although it would be easy to hang it as a bear bag, it's also just the right size to sit in my car's seat overnight. The clips inside makes it really easy to hang a trash bag taking up half and leaving the other half for stuff like bread or chips. You could also put two trash bags on the clips if you need to sort stuff.

Pros
  • Ideal for camping or grilling outside. Light weight, easily collapsible and washes well.
Cons
  • Not large enough to hold a significant amount of trash, especially for bigger groups
