Not what I expected or hoped for 👎🏼

I think they should be used to attach seat covers, but would someone be so kind as to give my slow self a step-by-step (or approximate) guide ) admit? Many Thanks. Oh, and for some reason I was under the impression there would be rear seat covers too. Although that's my problem.
