Review on Enhanced Logitech G13 Programmable Gameboard featuring LCD Display by Stanislaw Pietka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I paired it with the Logitech G600 gaming mouse specifically for playing World of Warcraft, as it turned out to be a very successful combination)). True, the default game profile had to be redone, and from time to time during the game you find that "you should have this here, but this - there"))) But in general, I think that I would not find anything better for the money . I put four goods only for a few keys that are not very accessible "on the run" - but maybe I'm too picky.

Pros
  • 1) Ergonomic design, the hand does not get tired even for a long time. 2) Quality software 3) Support for a large number of games (the software provides a huge number of profiles for each game, and also finds installed games from this list and activates these profiles). Moreover, profiles can be created independently for any application used (not necessarily games) 4) Fully customizable (programmable) keys, can be used for any kind of action: quite useful for editing texts, routine editing of tables, image processing, etc.: the main thing is to show imagination))). It is allowed to store profiles both in the keyboard itself (3 pieces, in my opinion), and on the computer (unlimited number), convenient switching of profiles from the keyboard itself. 5) Sufficient weight - the keyboard does not slip on the table, moreover, since the hand rests comfortably on the keyboard, additional pressure is provided. 6) Taking into account the fact that the keyboard has 3 mode change buttons (under the display, M1-M3), we get not 22 main keys, but 66 !
Cons
  • Some keys are not very easily accessible (e. G. G1, G2, G8, i. E. the top left 3 keys - the little finger does not reach if the center keys are configured as WASD; the same is true of the upper right corner), respectively in action games, where needed reaction, these keys should not be configured for any important macros. Also - if the mode change buttons (M1-M3) were located somehow a little more conveniently, so that they could be switched "on the run" (without looking up from G4, G10-G12) ;-) it would be generally "oh-oh-oh ".
