Bought a couple of these a few years ago and loved them but to me they were just a hint on the bluish side. They have also been difficult to find. When I found them in stock this year I picked up another pair and found the color to be a bit softer and warmer. The color change is perfect for my needs to use in window candles. I've been so happy with the dozen I've bought so far that I intend to replace all of those brands and bulbs as best I can. I've seen reviews of flickering and haven't noticed it in any of the dozen or more bulbs I've purchased. My wife is sensitive to the flickering of the LEDs in some household lamps, but has never complained about it. Lamps have worked flawlessly for many years. I only broke one when the candle fell out the window. The glass is broken, like any lightbulb, but the LEDs continue to burn. Considering that a 7 watt candle bulb uses as much energy as 14 of those bulbs, and doesn't "burn out" them with small bursts like regular incandescent bulbs do. I think it's good for me that I can light up all the windows in my house with the energy of two traditional light bulbs.
