First of all for those who say there is a choking hazard. I would like to point out that the FIRM mattress should be used for children under ONE year old or those who do not roll over easily. This is intended for older children/toddlers, not toddlers. If you are buying this for your child and are complaining about choking, the problem is YOU, not the mattress. We use a regular Millard memory foam crib mattress right after our son is a year old. It's very comfortable and a plus, and while it's already a great sleeper, it performs even better with the Millard. We bought this version for our travel PnP as it's important to us that we maintain a similar sleeping environment for our two year old. We use it alongside SlumberPod and White Noise Machine for a three-pack of essential sleep aids we need on the go. A travel version of this mattress along with the familiar sheets help our little one sleep so well even when we are not at home. It's definitely a bit bulky for luggage, but I would prefer to sacrifice a little space to ensure a good night's sleep when traveling.
