This cable does NOT support fast charging on newer iPhones and iPads. I became suspicious when this cable gave me a "double ring" fast charge indicator, and testing with a USB power meter confirmed my suspicions. You can clearly see that the gray cable (Sundix) only supports 5V-1A (5W) charging, even when using a 30W PD USB-C charger. The Apple-certified MFi cable (red) supports about 9V/2A (18W) fast charging. I re-read the product description and found no claims of MFi certification or PD charging support. Excellent; However, they also don't clearly state that their cable does NOT support PD charging. So it looks like they're counting on at least some buyers who don't know the difference. I'm giving one star more than the minimum simply because I can't prove that this omission is misleading or an intentional cover-up.
