These sleeves must be 19 x 25 to securely fit an 18 x 24 poster. I bought them for 18x24 concert posters. The problem I have is that many concert posters often have slight size differences and they are so tightly cut and the materials are so slippery that I would find the top 1/8 inch of the post exposed and susceptible to damage. . Or the poster would move and leave the corners open - I would put an 18x24 poster in these sleeves. 18 x 23.5 would be the largest, I think it can be safely handled, which isn't really a "thing" that renders them useless. Small posters slip too much. I think if you had exactly 18x24 posters they would fit.
