These ELCANTO STAZIONE leather hiking shoes look good, but are they the most comfortable hiking shoes I've tried in weeks? No, that difference belongs to ZASEPY's lightweight, breathable mesh running shoes for men, available for about half the price. I find them even better than these Elcantos fabrics. The Zasepy's fit is better than the Elcanto's – the latter dangles a little at the ankle; My feet tend to easily detach from the shoes when walking. I think the main reason the Elcantos aren't as comfortable as the Zasepys is the rather stiff, inflexible rubber outsole. These soles can soften over time, but right out of the box, the Zasepey soles will put them to shame. So I'm not sure if I'm going to keep these Elcantos or donate them to the Salvation Army. Recommend anyone looking for nice and extremely comfortable walking shoes to check out Zasepy's instead and pocket the price difference. Your feet will thank you, and so will your wallet!
