The texture is completely different. I had to ask my wife to come and help me finish the job.2. Yes, it will make your iPad screen look a bit hazy/blurry. The matte screen lets me know I'm using a crappy screen. If you don't use an Apple Pencil, stay away from this screen protector. BUT! 3. If you have ever used an Apple Pencil for more than 1 hour a day, ONLY use it. It improves the writing process way better than you can imagine. It feels like writing on a piece of paper with the Pilot G2 Pen, one of my favorite pens. Read all good and bad reviews before buying. If, like me, you're just looking for the best writing experience, buy twice. If you use it for multiple purposes, don't buy it and move on.
