Awesome Flash

This is fantastic and couldn't be better for the money. A flash with one of the hot shoe transmitters is required to take the flash off the camera. The case is made of plastic, but very robust. The menu is ok, but every once in a while I have to go back to the manual when I'm trying to do something I haven't done in a while. The included gel set is simple and effective. I use them all the time. I'll say that, I didn't buy it too long before the round head came out and would have preferred it. On the other hand, there is an adapter for this. The advantage is that it can fill the modifier more evenly, especially umbrellas. If you're using a softbox or umbrella that the lightning bolt is pointing at as a modifier, it doesn't make much of a difference.

Pros
  • (^o^) / Please note that Focus Assist does not work with Sony mirrorless cameras. Whether focus assist works really depends on the camera. On mirrorless cameras like the ILCE6000L A7RII, the focus lighting doesn't even work with the original Sony flash.
