I'm by no means a professional video/photographer and this is my first 'studio' light. How: The compact, bright LED screen on the devices is easy to read and understand. Dislikes: - The carrying case is very handy, but very thin. It wants to tip over, tip over and is a bit fiddly to use. The remote control may need improvement when switching from one light source to another. For example, if light 1 is 80% bright and light 2 is 40% bright, and the remote is used for light 1, switch to control light 2, the 80% setting will switch to light 2, so press the down button ' On the brightness will become actually BRIGHTNESS of the light decreased from 2 to 70%, not 30%. It's doable, but annoying. The light is harsh and I've already improvised softbox solutions (hanging paper on a barn door or even throwing a white t-shirt all over the block). Not the fault of the bulbs per se, but don't assume the 'diffuser' they come with will make much of a difference. I didn't use the battery feature to talk about it.
