Bought for cold weather walks. It's a thin material, but I pull it over my ears and fix it with headphones. The extended neck flap helps keep my neck warm as I have very short hair. I'm a small person with a small face, so I have a hard time staying still without headphones. The fabric is thin enough to be breathable, but if you take a deep breath, the material can clog your nose. However, this is the fun part and a lot of people laughed at me.
