Although they'd rather have an open window, our cats love to take a nap and look out the window when that's not possible. It's easy to assemble and strong - it holds our 10 and 15 pound cats with no problem. One day he collapsed because one of the cats, unaware of the technology and the consequences of his actions, ate a suction cup out of the window. I don't think it will ever snap unless tampered with, but it might be good to keep it flat on the ground or keep your eyes peeled if you have a crazy chewer like ours. Additionally, the seat and cords have fully survived their abuse, making them happy. We're also happy when the neighbors notice them and interact with them outside - it's a lot of fun!
