First off, I'm not the type of person to write reviews. Actually, this is my first. I work in the construction industry and as some of you may know there isn't always a place where you can buy something hot and eat. I chose this set because of the good reviews. I live and work in the Sierra mountains, it's mid-December and it's cold. I reheated the homemade soup and put it in a thermos around 6:30 am. I decided to skip my lunch break because I would finish early. Arrived home at 11:45 p.m. I opened the thermos and the soup was still hot. Not just hot, but so hot I could barely eat it. What impressed me the most was leaving it on the seat of my truck in 28 degrees all day. Tempo. It was my first day of use and I noticed 2 things. The spoon doesn't stay clamped in the cap, so I can imagine losing it at some point. The seal had already fallen off, but was easy to put back on. I also see that it goes away slightly at some point. Otherwise they are amazing. Do yourself a favor and get them. The price is right. Glenn
