Review on 🐱 Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Clumping Litter, Fragrance-Free 14lb by Lori Harper

It's good when it's good, but the quality is inconsistent

I've been buying this cat litter in different sizes for a long time. The quality of the bedding - how fine or coarse it is, how dusty, how clumpy it is - varies so widely and so unpredictably that I conclude there is a quality control problem at the factory. Sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's useless. Looking at the other reviews I think people who say "it's changed for the worse" got a bad box. The first photo shows the filler made from two boxes purchased about a week apart. It can be seen that the left one is much rougher, almost like small stones, it hurts the paws. The second photo shows the wet results and you can see the right one clumps well and the left barely clumps! I think it's ok if you're willing to return a damaged box from time to time. . If everything is fine, the spatula is fine, clumps well, does not raise a lot of dust. But when it's bad, like the box pictured on the left, it's just useless. I urge anyone who receives unacceptable packaging to complain to Revain - pressurizing suppliers is one way to get change and Arm & Hammer is one way to tighten quality control. Some variation between batches is acceptable, but such large variation is unacceptable.
