Corners break off in less than a month

I've had this for less than a month and just keep it in my purse without knocking on anything. It doesn't necessarily have to be unreliable and too low to place at a low viewing angle, but when I was using it small bits of black plastic kept landing here and there. And in the pictures you can see where they came from: from 3 corners. At this rate I will find a cover in a different style.
