It's a good size, bigger than I thought so will last a few years with proper care. It's not soft, which is good and bad, it will hold up and not sink into itself, but it will be a little stiff when you sit on it. There really is no pillow on tUckus. It has a pair of zippers for detaching and washing and a small fabric handle on the back to pick it up. Otherwise my daughter loves to grab her blanket and sip on it and sit on it to watch a movie or my 5 year old son can squeeze his ass with her and sit together. It doesn't look very childish, which is great. It's for our living room and I didn't want it to contrast in any way.
