Review on Matte Black Microsoft πŸ’» Designer Compact Keyboard: Sleek and Stylish by Kero Murcafo ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

CR2032 batteries are a plus for me. I was looking for a keyboard to connect to an android phone, it works OK in terms of typing. Officially only supports Windows, there is no Android mode, which is usually found in bluetooth keyboards with Ali. That is, not all shortcuts work (in Android). The Samsung Trio 500, similar in description / purpose, has the Logitech layout for the 2022 language loved by many - on the Ansi box, and in the user's photo - Logitech. They say that it is also pleasant to type on it, but the layout is for big fans. There are not many keyboards with good reviews. There is Hama, models with Ali (hard to find with 2022 engraving, a cat in a poke, there is a battery, there is AAA), Thinkpad Wireless for 150 USD, Trio 500 and Designer Compact. There are also Logitech Mx Keys and Master (?), but I don't even know if they're Bluetooth because of the layout and the price tag.

Pros
  • Very pleasant typing experience. There is a little less travel than the Thinkpad USB keyboard (similar to the T430s), but the buttons are more "tight" in place. The stroke length is similar to the T480s keyboard, but the effort is less and, therefore, IMHO more pleasant. They say it looks like Apple iMac. :/ Ansi layout, there are PgUp, PgDown, Home, End.
Cons
  • Emoji button. It is configured through software under Windows 10/11 (did not try it). You can reassign to Apps, and then to anything via AutoHotkey. Under Android it is translated as [left] Ctl+Shift+Alt+Space. Reassignment is unlikely to work. But switches the language (Ctrl + Space). Expensive. But it is unlikely that you will be able to find such keys for less money.
