This is a regular dance skirt. My daughter loves to wear skirts to ballet class and this will serve that purpose. As they tend to run small I ordered a large when she used to wear medium sized clothes in little girls dresses and I'm glad I did. The big one fits her perfectly. There is a seam on the front of the skirt that strikes me as odd. As this is a faux wrap skirt, the seam could be placed on the side or back for a better look.
