Reading some of these reviews it becomes clear that people are trying to do the wrong thing with them. This is to give your nails a shine, not to file them. They do a great job painting nails. I've tried to show in pictures how great they work. On one photo an unpolished nail, on the other a polished one. I don't usually use polish because I'm a man and I don't need shiny nails, just manicured nails. But I wanted buyers to understand what they were doing. The surface on all four sides feels almost the same, but they are not the same, they are very different. Buffing a nail takes about a minute and a half. The results look fantastic. They're also great for cleaning up ridges and ugly toenails for flip flops so you don't look like a walking troll.
