Because it's made of linen, the weighted blanket improves breathability. That doesn't mean it's not hot yet; That! I'm blown away by how warm the weighted duvet gets (and stays on after we get out of bed). But a linen duvet cover prevents the duvet from sweating too much. That being said, I'm sure that once the weather warms up I'll be using this a lot less, regardless of the comforter. In summary, I've washed this twice and it produces a lot of lint. Much more than I expected from underwear. The tailoring is pretty sloppy too, with large strips of fluffy material just hanging inward from the corners. But once you've peeled off the duvet cover, you can't tell, and it hasn't affected the duvet cover's durability yet. Just something to note.
