It's no secret that mist fans work best in low humidity environments. It's also no secret that foggers usually require their own fog pump, as finer fog (i.e. higher pressure) means more cooling. Tried this fan for the first time today. About 68-70% humidity. The mist didn't evaporate very quickly and if you sat right in front of it you felt a little damp, but the air coming out of the unit was REALLY cooler than without the mist. For the $40 it costs, it's worth it - even if it's just a wireless fan.
