Review on πŸ‘˜ N Natori Women's Plus-Size Congo Robe: Luxurious Comfort for Curvy Ladies by Jasmine Lovett

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quite normal and won't last long

Natori Plus Size Congo Robe for women is made of thin fabric that resembles a t-shirt. The sleeves are 3/4 length (not as long as described) and do not have a shawl collar as described. The photo is meant to have a two-tone effect, but it's all one hue and one texture. There are no belt loops. Instead, there is a strip of fabric at the back of the robe that the belt runs through (similar to a hoodie drawstring channel, only much shorter and wider. It's quite high at the back, meaning it doesn't tie anywhere). . my natural waistline. This design also results in the belt dragging across the floor when unfastened. I've only washed the robe twice and it already looks worn and puffy, like an old cheap t-shirt. The bags are also baggy afterwards, wash first, so do not lay flat. , combined with the odd placement of the belt, = Natori's oversized Congo dressing gown for women is not flattering at all. However, it's soft and light, which is great for summer. I doubt it will last until the end of the season which is disappointing for a nearly $60 item. It looks and feels like a robe you would find at a major department store for $25. I would consider it a single use item, kind of like you could shop cheap on vacation because you forgot your robe and don't care about the lacing lasting longer than the short vacation.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • For retirees
