Accessories for underwater fun

This is a dome port housing for a GoPro camera. The case comes in 2 sizes, one for Hero 8 and one for Hero 5-7, so order the size that fits your camera. The device comes with a waterproof 7.5" x 1.5" hollow handle that floats. The handle has a threaded hole so you can also use it to store small valuables while swimming. There is a loop on the handle for attaching a lanyard (included). There's also a threaded tripod mount should you want to attach a selfie bag or extender. You attach the dome cover directly to the other end of the handle. Or you can add an extra trigger between the body and the handle. The kit includes the case (with a replaceable dome screen), an extra large polishing cloth, a velvet lanyard protective screen for the dome, thumbscrews for attaching the mount, and instructions in Mandarin and Mandarin Chinese. I had fun with this dome port. with my GoPro 7. The port fitted well although I had to figure out how to attach it myself as the instructions are quite confusing. The secondary trigger is a very useful feature, although figuring out how to attach it is tricky. I had to study the photos a little, and then study the assembly again. Eventually I realized that the trigger only works when the dome is installed. Without the canopy on the front, it's fully locked in place, so it doesn't seem to move at all. It's great that the dome replaces itself as I can easily see how it can get scratched with use. It can also be prone to fogging. In any case, the device is excellent for taking photos or videos with a GoPro, both underwater and on the waterline. Overall, this is a great accessory for underwater photographers, but you'll have to find out for yourself as the instructions aren't very helpful.
