Review on Moondrop Shiro Yuki White Snow HiFi Dynamic Earbuds: Immersive Line Type Earphones by Jeannie Story

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not bad. Excellent for the price.

On first hearing they definitely have a timbre, a bit of a tin can effect. They benefit greatly from being hacked - leave them running on your computer throughout the day with a repeating track. The sound is very detailed and juicy, making them impressive for headphones. They never lose their slightly metallic timbre, which is a bit annoying as the last thing you need for transparency is a resonance you can grind and won't go away. Regardless, her other qualities seem to make up for it. Super crisp highs and mids, slightly boomy, but full lows. Pretty fun to listen to! Compared to: Yuin PK3 - Yuins are more balanced and transparent without adding anything of their own, but they have slightly less shine and detail and therefore less "wow" at the end. Compared to: FAEEL Snow Lotus - Snow Lotus are even more resonant and less flat, they're also quite fun to listen to, but they're not as precise as these. Compared to VE Monk, Monks are legendary and special, and with good reason. They are impressive, lush and transparent in one bottle. They have their own presentation which isn't entirely flat but makes the music extremely appealing. The Shiro Yuki are the headphones that come closest to them, and they share many of these attractive traits. They only get -1 points for their timbre. Overall very good and definitely worth a try for the price.
