Overall it looks good and seems able to handle my wild toddler. However, the colors of the numbers/letters do not always match the background colors on the board, so color matching can be difficult. There are also some very subtle differences between uppercase and lowercase letters that you wouldn't expect, like X, N and Z. My toddler is just under 2 years old so maybe a 3 year old can figure it out but mine 23 month old definitely can't . I'm not even sure my husband noticed when he turned the N upside down and got it stuck in there too tight for my toddler to get out on his own.
