I've had them plugged into the powerful charger we use to charge everything by the bed for most of the year and although we've plugged them into almost every one in turn night all the time. They never gave us any charging problems. Usually, longer cables slow down the charging speed, but they don't seem to affect my phone too much when charging fast. One of these had the metal sleeve coming loose at the end, but this was a cosmetic phenomenon as it in no way affected the rigidity of the connector or its use. The cables are on the stiffer side and kink and twist long before they kink, and I was able to use it as a data cable for my VR headset with ease. Just keep an eye on them as they don't often lay flat and can be dangerous at this length.
