I have sensitive, dry skin and have spent most of my adult life trying to figure this out. but my skin LOVES this stuff. Just gentle and not chemical but gets the job done. The foam pump extends the life of this stuff, so it's a great payoff! I prefer to use this soap with an electric facial brush than with a washcloth. I have a feeling some people who say it's dry or ineffective use it with a washcloth and let it soak. And if you're just using your fingertips, it's not as effective. The brush helps move the soap and rub it into the skin without absorbing it. If you have dry skin like me, I think judging by the words a more nourishing face lotion is needed than Simple's. They're fine, but I can feel a little of that watery feeling. Especially not cool if you apply foundation afterwards.
