Made in China. The tags attached have more characters than English so I can't read all of them, but the care instructions are in English. This is a thin sweatshirt. Not very thick, good quality, which you can buy in a Disney store for example, but thin, fashionable, light, which you can see in a big store for a small price. I think you really buy it more because of the design and the quality. However, it's more than just quality as it's only really useful for one month of the year anyway. I really like that it's fairly unisex so it suits younger siblings well regardless of gender. Listing needs to be edited to remove the word "sweater" as it is a sweatshirt and not a sweater. I think this would be a good gift especially if the kid or family really love sloths and animals. My 5 year old loved the sloth very much - he thought it was fun and very cute. He was very buff and excited to wear it. Care instructions say lay flat to dry (lovely). They take the time to translate the care instructions into English, but the wash temperature is still in Celsius. All in all I would recommend this.
