After long gaming sessions started giving me wrist pain, I finally decided it was time to buy something to fix my wrist support to relieve tension beforehand. worsening or progressing to carpal tunnel syndrome etc. Why did I choose these over one of the hundreds of other wrist guards available? - I wanted something that wasn't very soft and some of the reviews mentioned it was a bit firmer, which is absolutely true. For me this is the perfect fit. Soft enough to be comfortable on my wrist but not so soft that my wrist would sink in. I also wanted a pad made out of quality material that wouldn't peel off the gel underneath. Since this pillow uses memory foam instead of gel, it shouldn't have those issues and looks very nice. Hopefully it will hold up after prolonged use. My third criterion was to make sure the pad was odorless and didn't start to smell over time. I can't say anything about long-term odor yet, but at the moment the pad has almost no odor. I also feel that the grooves on the pad's surface help keep it cool when my wrist is there for long periods of time, so I shouldn't have too much trouble sweating into the pad. The last criterion was the low price, and this certainly fits. Even if I have to buy a new one every year, it's definitely worth it to keep my wrist from hurting. I've gotten so used to it that I take another one to work!
