I have read reviews of other similar containers and found that they often break the locking handle and have some cracks on the plastic containers themselves. Their construction is much stronger and I don't foresee any problems. They close tightly, fold well and are affordable. Don't buy them if you plan to wash your tops. I just wiped mine with a damp paper towel and dried it. If you submerge them in water, the water gets under the lid and is very difficult to get out. I made that mistake once. I don't see a way to completely disassemble the covers, but I just don't plan on doing it again, so I'll be fine. no breakage problems. The lid lock mechanism is small and thick and doesn't look like it will break easily. In general they look like a quality product.
