I am seventeen years old and have been battling acne for three years. My acne is actually not superficial acne. My acne consists of subcutaneous pimples only on my cheeks that never go away. I was so scared to order this because I have tried literally every acne remedy that has ever existed! I've probably spent over $2,000 on various products. And it's expensive, but it's really worth the money. I ordered Curology about 6 months ago and it didn't really work, it just turned the pimples into whiteheads so instead of red bumps all over my face I had white rough bumps all over my face. I also never stick to any regimen other than washing my face in the shower at night, but with that I use it morning and night. I also struggled a lot with redness. If I rubbed my face gently it would look like I had a 2 hour workout so there is a picture of redness relief because I also use it before bed. I haven't changed my diet. I eat junk food, but I've watched a lot of videos saying drink lots of water, don't touch your face, etc. The only thing I did was wash my face every morning at night. In class I sit with my head in my hand and it's pretty hard not to touch your face. Also, I went completely makeup-free for a few months so my skin was really clear and my pores didn't get as much dirt as if I were wearing makeup. I started washing my face on October 9th and now it's October 24th and already there is a big difference. The only two negative things I have to say about it are the dry mask and the dry cream, which smell absolutely awful. Whenever I use a mask I just want to dry my skin. Maybe yours will be different, but to me it smelled like sour milk and sand mixed with burning tires. Another downside is that the drying lotion smells like Vick (that thing you use when you're sick to put somewhere on your chest or legs), so my eyes were gone within minutes of putting it on mine applied to cheeks, watery and sometimes from the nose. little. If it weren't for these smells, I would boldly recommend this product to everyone! When it's gone, I'll order more.
