This mouse has frustrated me more than any other PC peripheral I've ever owned. I have been a customer of Razer mice for many years, but over time their quality has deteriorated to the point where I could no longer justify continuing to purchase their products. And now, after many years, I've switched to the Logitech side. To give them a chance to really impress me, I chose the G903, the most feature-rich mouse I've ever owned. There was an error. Don't get me wrong - everything seemed fine at first. The mouse's wired/wireless functions worked like clockwork, accuracy was good, and the light weight made switching to a new mouse a lot less painful than I expected. Then came the phantom clicks. At first I had no idea what was going on. Windows seemed to freeze and stopped responding to mouse clicks (although moving the cursor still worked fine). After a few instances I found that Ctrl+Alt+Del fixed the problem and I got by with it for a while. Unfortunately, the problem has gotten worse. What started as a sporadic weekly problem turned into a daily and then hourly problem. Every time the click became unresponsive, I had to press ctrl+alt+del for the mouse clicks to start registering again. Over time, I also began to experience my browser randomly jumping back a page as if I hit the backspace key. This was my first hint that my mouse, which was less than six months old at the time of these problems, could be related to the issue. But of course a new mouse that costs double what I've traditionally paid for good gaming mice can't go bad." He was finally at the end of his tether. It was time to move on, so I went ahead and got started to put a new one together. After spending too much money and time the system was up and running and I happily installed Windows 10. Time to change the defaults - disable Cortana, disable all those tracking buttons. Wait, why can I didn't click them? It must of course have just been the Windows 10 installation environment that was incompatible with something - that was my thought. After the operating system was installed, I moved on to the main drivers. Click.. Click click. Click click click click! Nothing. I was furious. Despite building a brand new PC, the click problem persisted. From my shiny new PC, I started surfing wild again searches, and those searches became the first few pages of my Firefox history since Maximus Formula xi Driver. The page then returned to my Google search results and I almost lost my mind. IT WAS A MOUSE! IT WAS THE PERMANENT TIME A MOUSE! To confirm my suspicions, I stripped off the confused device and rushed to my Surface, where I've obviously never had a reason to use this mouse. 5 minutes later the problem occurs again, this time on the third device. - - - This mouse is a lemon. I'm in the process of submitting an RMA as I'm fortunately still within the manufacturer's warranty period, but from what I see upon closer inspection I expect the same issue to occur with a new mouse. You'd think that for a $150 flagship, Logitech would have the decency to spend a few cents more on quality switches the way quality keyboard makers use Cherry MX keyswitches. Obviously not. This mouse is bad and designers should feel bad about it. Logitech, you had a chance with me once and you ruined it. I don't know who I'll buy mice from in the future, but definitely not from you.
