The digital part of the watch stopped working after a few months, but the analogue part continued to work. A year later, nothing we do gives back the digital part. As far as I know there was no water damage. You get what you pay for. If you want a watch that will last 6 months, then throw it away and buy a new one, then this is your watch. It is not worth repairing or even changing the battery as it will cost more than buying a new one. This is consumerism at its worst. Next time I'll spend a little more for a Timex or something better that will work well for more than a few months after purchase.
