I bought two sizes and I'm glad I did. The smaller one is quite small but goes well with the regular kraft flat envelopes my husband uses to store seeds from our garden. This year he has saved several large batches of bean kernels, and his usual envelope is too small. They will work great for it if it happens from time to time. Anyway, the seller included a small set of THANK YOU stickers that I can reuse anytime, which was nice. I recommend. By the way, since they are covered with plastic, we can poke a small hole in these bags to allow the seeds to breathe. Don't think you would do for many things or small seeds or beads etc. It's just that my husband is not sure from time to time if his seeds are completely dry when he packs them up for a year. We store in a freezer or a cool, dry, dark place for next year's germination season. Around February to March and of course plants like beans that are planted directly in the garden. They lie flat so you shouldn't have any trouble stamping or writing on the envelopes. I would buy more but this amount will last a long time.
