I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I ordered this locket. Of course the photos and the description tell the same thing, but often the real product is not quite what you expect. Well, with this locket, those fears were unfounded. It not only looks good, but also has a comfortable weight; about 7 yrs. The locket also appeared to be quite strong, even too strong. I had a hard time opening it with my "male" hands, although my wife didn't seem to have had any trouble opening it herself. The only thing that I think could be an issue is the thin necklace that came with it. My wife thinks it will hold up well, I'm just afraid one of the little ones will break the limbs while playing with it; they've done it before. However, I have a few spares just in case. Overall I am happy with the purchase and so is the wife as it was primarily a gift for her. I would have no problem recommending this locket to anyone looking for something similar.
