This chair was purchased to replace my executive chair just over a year old. I am disabled and suffer from chronic back pain which has compelled me to have a morphine pump implanted but I am still in pain. I spend most of my time awake in my office chair. I decided to search and find a chair that would give me maximum comfort and after searching, reading reviews and browsing all sorts of websites I bought this beautiful chair which arrived within a few days and was packaged so well that I couldn't imagine it. Each item was damaged in transit. I couldn't wait and assembled a chair (one of the simplest) expecting it would be a lot less painful to sit on. Note the very new chair design in chair design. I gathered everything and climbed inside. NIGHTMARE. It was the most uncomfortable chair I have ever sat in and I was very upset. When I sat in a chair, the seat was tipped forward so that I slipped off the chair. The very smooth fabric caused no friction and forced me to push further back. The lumbar pillow dug into my back. I couldn't believe the chair I was looking for for so long was useless and really couldn't figure out how to buy a comfortable chair online. BUT BEFORE I CONTACT AMAZON, I decided to email the manufacturer and share my experience. Almost immediately I received a response that they would send me a "spacer" free of charge to help with the installation. Skeptical and apprehensive, I counted the days until I got it and pounced on it right after work. I finally have the chair I bought. NO MATTER. After only 3 or 4 days of use, I sincerely hope and trust that this chair will give me the relief I've been looking for. I don't know who could use this chair without padding and I'm wondering if this is a manufacturer's fault. Fortunately, this remedy is very simple and should be in the chair from the start. I can only report good chair, EXCELLENT customer service.
