This isn't the first thing I've ordered. They are inexpensive and quite durable. However, I'm a fan of the walking foot, which is a separate piece from the sewing machine. That way they can be thrown away if they break, which will happen if you use them as much as I have. I train with a machine and accessories and they work great. Did I break something? Yes, but only one, so to me it's a quality part because it's held up well for a LONG time. For what it's worth, most machines on the market today are low-shank machines. That means a standard low-cut touring foot will fit from brand to brand. This foot works well on Singer, Brother, Kenmore, Janome and Viking machines as long as they are like all other low shank machines. The only downside is that the foot will need to be re-tightened from time to time as it loosens with heavy use. I don't see that as a problem. I teach sewing and this walking foot is my choice for students whose machines don't have a walking foot. I have personally taught over 20 students how to use the walking foot and this is my choice as it is affordable. I do NOT feel the need to buy or recommend branded stops as they are the SAME part.
