Difficult to close when using in-lid storage

So I have a lot of cosmetics. I bought this to apply my "monthly makeup" which I am currently wearing. I have another cosmetic store that is not currently in use. Pros: The dividers are adjustable, allowing you to use many different configurations. NEVER put my makeup bag in checked baggage. The outer material seems to be quite water-repellent, maybe even waterproof. like the cover itself. The problem with using this space is that it creates "bulk" and it is difficult to close the cover and close the bag. Storing large facial brushes just won't work. I had to move the facial brushes to a separate brush holder. I use this space to store my eyeliner and brow pencils which are pretty flimsy and I still have a hard time closing the zip case all the way. The bag itself is strong, but therefore not flexible. It's not something you can fill with groceries and close anyway. If you do end up using it while traveling, the only way to accommodate an eyeshadow palette (6-12 trays) is to remove almost all of the dividers unless you're just using a small quad or something tiny. Then all you have to do is stack the rest of the makeup on top of the palette and hope nothing inside will damage the palette. I personally travel infrequently (even before COVID) and don't travel with glass bottles or pallets which are too expensive for me so this isn't a problem for me, but I understand it can be for those who travel frequently. Overall I think this is a good makeup organizer for those who have a small collection and want a place to store their makeup at home and something to take with them on a trip , If you want.

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
