Definitely not ideal for a cooker hood. Whiter, lighter, larger, and without the bulge at the end where the plumb bob would normally be. All of this is problematic to varying degrees. If you want to see every bit of dust and grease then they sure are great, but other than that they're tough. Also interesting, they don't turn on in my hood's dimming mode. My hood is dark and light. I have to turn light on and then quickly dim to use dim. And dark is lighter on these builds than light on the original. In the photo on the left the original, on the right the new LED. Personally worse.
