Review on 🔌 Melonboy 180° Rotating Magnetic Charging Compatible by Chp Rodgers

Original review May 23, 2021 We only use magnetic USB cables in our house. We've been doing this for over two years. The advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. Pros 1) The USB port on our phones, tablets, e-book readers, and many other devices isn't plugged in and unplugged every day. Plug in the adapter and leave it there. This prevents device wear. 2) No pocket lint gets into the USB port because the adapter acts like a plug, blocking anything from going into the outlet. 3) If you pull on the USB cable, the magnetic mount will simply detach. Phone or other device is not damaged. 4) Connecting the magnetic cable to the device with the adapter attached is very quick and easy as the magnets do all the work of aligning and connecting the cable to the device. 5) This product is designed as a data link and power supply at the same time. 6) We believe that charging your phone with a cable is better than a wireless charger. Why? Because we can pick up the phone and use it while it's charging. Wireless chargers usually mean the phone has to lie down and may not be able to be used. Cons: 1) You may have to spend a bit more to have enough adapters for all your devices. 2) There doesn't seem to be a standard for magnetic attachments. Some magnetic cables have 7 pins, some have 5, some 5 pins are different from some 5 pins. It's easy to find the cables you want and buy all the cables and adapters you need in one place. I found that cables from two vendors worked together, but it took some time and money. 3) Some say these magnetic cables are unreliable. A few years ago our cables broke. But all the new cables turned out to be very reliable. I would go insane if they had to be repotted to make it work. In fact, they just attach and start doing their job. If they get dirty, especially with fine metal shavings, they won't be able to stick properly. In this case, just clean the contacts and they will work again. I only buy magnetic cables that can both transfer data and charge like these cables. The presence of only charging (and there are many) complicates the situation too much. These Melonboy cables work, but they exhibited behavior I hadn't seen before. When I connect the cable to my phone (Samsung S9+), it shows the estimated charging time for quite a long time, e.g. B. 7 or 8 hours. Within 10 seconds, the estimated loading time will be reset to a more reasonable value, e.g. B. 1 hour. At least Melonboy cables work, but I haven't seen this behavior with our other cables. I recommend these Melonboy magnetic cables.
