I've been looking for computer speakers with a remote control for a long time. I don't have a TV, I have two 27 inch monitors and I stream movies and shows to my computer or PlayStation so I had to deal with the manual volume controls. Space. Also, some content plays at a very low volume, which I could hear with my old speakers. I hooked this up directly to my monitor for PlayStation audio and it's AMAZING. Not only can I finally control the volume (the remote is way better than the picture), but the sound is freaking awesome. My favorite horror movies and I suddenly hear all these textures, it's like a theatrical experience. FM radio and USB capabilities are a bonus, I don't have a stereo. The music sounds pretty decent, definitely better than anything I've personally owned other than the headset. I kept it on my wish list for a while wondering if it would work for what I wanted and I'm so glad I bought it.
