So this swaddle blanket is just as big, soft, stretchy and beautiful as all CP blankets. However, this particular color is a bit messy. Of course you want to wash any fabric before the baby is born, but this sucker is so saturated with dark red color that it takes a million washes to get out. If you don't wash it thoroughly enough, it will stain everything it touches. I've washed this darn blanket about 5 times and I'm praying it will hold up. The real blanket doesn't look like it's been lightened much after washing, so that's good, but I really wish Copper Pearl would take care of this issue before sending it to consumers. Considering how expensive these blankets are, don't risk staining. One year later update: After those 5 washes, this comforter was a dream come true! The color never faded and didn't stain anything I washed it with afterwards.
