Don't: Seasonal Decor

Worked like clockwork the first time. It turned out perfect, the tree is beautiful and durable. After this assignment everything went downhill. The following year we set up the Christmas tree according to the instructions. I had to screw it deep into the tree well and tight. Centered and ready to go. Plastic fasteners tightened and everything centered. Start decorating. Everything is ready and beautiful, Christmas will be good. Now I have a restaurant so I work a lot of nights. So low and lo and behold I return home after a long holiday night to find the tree completely fallen, water and glass everywhere, a complete Christmas mess. After blowing off some steam, I cleaned up the mess and put the tree back on its stand. Maybe I didn't tighten the fasteners enough, so this time I made sure they were secure. The stand lasted the rest of Christmas without further problems, but not without tilting slightly, every day more. So this year I really had to make sure that everything was done correctly and that there were no incidents like last Christmas. Turn it on, check it out. Check in place with the bracket. Fasteners are tightened, check or so I thought. With adjustments in use and lengthening, the fasteners begin to wear out and do not hold the tree as tightly as one might imagine. So low, and here is the same day, New Year, same result. With all that has been said and done my tree is currently sitting in the corner leaning against the wall while I try to find another tree as it is sad and empty waiting to be decorated with Christmas cheer. Don't waste your money on this product. This is going to frustrate you and you want a good old metal clasp tree stand that will never slip or peel and will hold your tree just as nicely for everyone to enjoy Christmas morning.
