It is as appeared in the pictures. It is made of a soft felt-like material with a little bit of shine to it, and the hat part has batting and is lined with a brown material for a finished look on the inside. Is comfortable to wear but will easily fall off an adult head. As a prop it sits well, is very upright with the tip bent at a 45 degree angle, the "face” is discernible, the brim is shape with a stiff brim wire and so does not have the floppy old hat look. Not a collectible but it works really well for our Harry Potter themed parties and the kids loved it.
