Heat is the main killer of all electronic devices
Great little device, my processor dropped 30% and the 2.4 and 5GHz radios dropped about 20%. You can hear it when it's on on the Max, but if you're streaming video or music you won't hear it at all. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to double the lifespan of their router.
