I wasn't sure how much a pound of stones would cost! When the package arrived I thought that it was probably not enough and I would have to order a 2nd package. This turns out to be exactly what I need for most of my vases. I have a monthly fresh flower subscription, I wanted to put beads in the bottom of the vase to hold the stems in place. They work great. - A pound of pearls is about a glass and a half. - In a 3" vase they are 4" deep - In my 6" vase they are about 1" deep - An added bonus if you accidentally cut off the stems. Pearls that are too short can lift them up a bit so that the flower is correctly positioned over the edge of the vase.
