I've had cats all my life and until then I'd only known the plastic version. I started volunteering at a cat shelter and rescuing. After my first day I came home and ordered the one they use! I can't even believe how much better it is compared to the 10+ plastic versions I've been through over the years. A world of difference! It's much easier to get in there and remove anything, even half-wet things stuck to the sides - just scrape off!
