This is a very cheap alternative to more expensive similar products and could easily ship during the coronavirus outbreak. All others had a delivery time of at least 30 days and were probably shipped from China. If it's already in the States, I don't care where it's made as long as it gets there quickly. It's small and easy to set up. The ball joint works fine, but I wouldn't over-tighten the compression screw. I don't think it's strong enough if you do that and you might snap the threads. It's not flimsy, but it's not durable either. Holds my Canon EOS 80D DSLR even with an external battery and pistol mic. It's quite heavy and not a problem at all. That's enough for my video blogging activities. I use a box to give me some extra height when I need it as it's really just a desktop camera stand. I plan to use it a lot.
