I have been using these headphones for 2 months before writing this review. The Razer Kraken X wired gaming headset is perfect for the price. The sound quality when using 7.1 virtual surround sound is good for some games that use at least 5.1 surround sound. (Make sure you're using the correct audio channels.) The sound quality is great for gaming. The noise cancellation is definitely there. The ear cups even have cut-outs for those who wear glasses. You don't see them, but you can feel them with your finger. Because they use a 3.5mm jack, they work with PC, Android, Xbox One, and PS4 controllers with sound and a mic. It even works for audio on Nintendo Switch. A longer cable is included for the PC, which connects to two separate 3.5mm ports (one for audio and one for microphone). To be honest USB is no better in my experience with other headsets. The volume can be adjusted with the wheel on the headset. What caught my eye was the microphone. I took several shots and the quality was phenomenal for a budget gaming headset. This is truly a cardio mic that doesn't pick up background noise like key clicks and distant voices. I've even used it for college online courses and was pleased with how clean I sounded in a scale meeting. If necessary, it can be deactivated using the button. I also find the headset quite comfortable. It can be worn for a long time. They didn't bother me at all. They're adjustable to move up and down, but the earcups don't rotate, giving the headset extra rigidity. (A+) Despite being mostly plastic, they don't feel cheap at all. All in all, this is a must have if you are looking for a wired gaming headset! Well done Razer!
